On Thursday, December 18, 2025, at approximately 1:58 p.m., officers from the Santa Rosa Police Department’s (SRPD) Special Enforcement Team (SET), alongside Gang Crimes and Narcotics Detectives, executed a search warrant in the 2300 block of Hickock Court.
During the operation, a juvenile attempted to flee the scene by running out the rear of the residence and jumping over a neighboring fence. The juvenile was quickly detained and found to be on probation for an unrelated case in Sonoma County. Due to their age, the juvenile’s identity has not been released.
The subsequent search of the residence revealed a loaded SKS 7.62x39 mm rifle and a loaded .40 caliber Sig P320 handgun, the latter of which had obliterated serial numbers. Officers also located suspected cocaine in the suspect’s bedroom.

The adult suspect was arrested and booked into the Sonoma County Main Adult Detention Facility on multiple firearms-related charges.
SRPD’s Special Enforcement Team was developed to address the rise in illegal firearm possession and gun violence within Santa Rosa. K9 Ghost played a key role in ensuring the safe and thorough execution of this search, exemplifying the department’s commitment to keeping the community safe.
