About US

Our MISSION
We are a nonprofit organization committed to supporting the K9 teams of the Santa Rosa Police Department - from their first day on the street through retirement. Our mission is to provide critical care and resources that ensure every K9 lives a safe, healthy, and honored life, both in and out of service.
SRPD K9s are highly trained working dogs who serve our community with loyalty. They track suspects, detect narcotics and firearms, protect officers, and face danger in the line of duty. While the department provides for their their needs during service, there is no official support when a K9 retires. These dogs don't receive pensions or benefits, despite a lifetime of service.
That's where we come in.
The SRPD K9 Association was created to ensure these dogs continue to receive the care, comfort, and respect they've earned. Whether it's funding medical procedures, helping with retirement transitions, or supporting active K9 teams like Ghost, Rocco, and Oso, our mission is built on honoring their service.
All donations are tax-deductible and go directly towards the care and long-term support of the dogs who serve our community. (EIN: 93-446208)
