K9 Ghost assists SRPD SET Team to recover a loaded firearm, magazines and ammunition during search warrant service

On Wednesday, December 2, 2025, at approximately 11:23 a.m., SRPD Officers assigned to the Special Enforcement Team (SET) along with Gang Crime and Narcotics Detectives served a search warrant in the 6600 block of Redwood Drive in Rohnert Park.

The search warrant was related to an ongoing investigation regarding illegal weapons possession. Two suspects were contacted and detained during the search warrant. One suspect was found to be in possession of a loaded, concealed firearm in his waistband. The firearm was a Glock 19 9mm pistol, which was not registered. K9 Ghost located several additional magazines, ammunition, and another 9mm pistol inside the residence.
Both suspects were arrested for multiple weapons related charges.

The Santa Rosa Police Department Special Enforcement Team was developed to address the rise in illegal firearm possession and the rise in gun violence in the City of Santa Rosa.
